 With the intention to develop and support San Miguel childrens' reading habits, and to offer the necessary tools for them to succeed at this task, Casa Esperanza of DIF works in coordination with the Biblioteca Publica by providing computer and reading classes in order to give a boost to the childrens' creativity.

 Eduardo Sanchez, the teacher in charge of the childrens' area of the Biblioteca Publica wants you to know that these one-hour workshops occur every Tuesday, during which young people from 10 to 15 years old participate in reading activities, exercises in writing, comprehension, and handwriting as well as internet activities which will motivate them towards better performance in school.  In this way DIF Municipal and the Biblioteca San Miguel de Allende, A.C. through the Casa Esperanza, continue working together for the benefit of San Miguel young people, in this case by helping more than 20 at-risk children.
