storytellers competition guanajuato The Instituto Estatal de la Cultura de Guanajuato (the Guanajuato State Institute of Culture), through the Direccíon de Promocíon Cultural y la Red Estatal de Bibliotecas (the Office of Cultural Promotion and the State Network of Libraries), presents the First Competition of Oral Stage Narrative “Storytellers of Guanajuato”.

This event begins on Thursday, the 29th of October at 11 a.m. in the Teatro Santa Ana located in the Biblioteca Publica of San Miguel de Allende, A.C.

The general public is invited to see, hear and help the young participants of Dolores Hidalgo, San Luis de la Paz, San José Iturbide, and Salvatierra.  The goal of this type of event is to promote reading and the participation of young girls and boys.
