priority on your next visit. The mural, which took 2 years to complete and covers all wall space in the Sala, depicts images of tribal cultures and history of Mexico. Videos of the Sala Quetzal are available in the Biblioteca Gift Store, La Tienda. The artist, David Leonardo was born in Mexico City in 1963 and began painting as soon as he could hold a brush. He grew up in a family where both parents, Angélica Castañeda Velasco and Humberto Chavez Cabrales were painters, creating an artistic environment conducive for spiritual and personal growth. David Leonardo has produced 11 murals, four of which can be seen in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico The Sala Quetzal is available for lectures, meetings and concerts.
